Justin Savage is a legend in the fitness industry. Long before instagram, he already had a bunch of the major celebrity clients, which made him popular in the media world right when health and fitness started to trend.

Justin recently launched his new gym A Squad Called Savage in the heart of Potts Point. Here is what you need to know!

What inspired you to launch A Squad Called Savage?

I worked in corporate gyms for 3 years prior to starting Savage and I always felt like they were impersonal and rushed. We wanted a place that was friendly, where training could be more personal and I could find trainers that fit this business model.

Fast forward 5 years, we are in our dream space, we have 10 amazing trainers and awesome clients. We now run lots of corporate wellness programs for business such as Joe and the Juice, Interactive inc, nuzest, Mundipharma and two in-house gyms for Linkedin with our brand @squadwellness

What does Savage Squad specialise in?

We specialise in 3 major areas – Box, Shred and Build.

The Boxing class is a hybrid of boxing and cross fit, Shred classes are circuit and HIIT + Build is our ever popular 6-week strength program. We run these programs in our own gym as well as in our corporate gyms.

What has been one of your best moments since launching Savage?

Seeing our clients love our new space, come back week after week and become like family to our team and each other.

And biggest learning?

Think big! With passion and hard work you can do it – anything possible!

Love it! So now we want to hear about what your day looks like.
